Everything for a city break
City breaks are a great way to get away – whether you live in a motorhome or van or in a house.
They are great for experiencing tasters of different countries - the food and the drink and the beautiful architecture. It really is surprising what you can achieve in such a short period of time! You literally can go to Paris for lunch!

Our city break itineraries are packed from dawn to dusk – with great places to go, the key highlights of that city and they can be done in 24 -48 hours. Obviously the longer you have the more you can see – or maybe you just want to take it down a notch and do things at a more leisurely pace.
What can you expect to find on our city guides and itinerary’s?
- Where to stay. Budget, Mid Range, Higher End – and where to park if you are in a motorhome!
- When to go. Whats the best time of year to visit – main and shoulder seasons.
- What to do. All the must see attractions for 24 or 48 hours in a city.
- Scams to be aware of. What kinds of things are prevalent in that area – if anything.
- Places to eat. Street food, local food, traditional food, food for that region and sometimes a Michelin starred place or two, great for the foodies amongst us!
- Free things to do. We can only spend our money once – so these are free things to do to make your money go futher!
I love city breaks as it is a chance to discover a city or fly away for a weekend to get a break and get a taste of what that country has to offer. That on its own can lead to planning a longer term trip or backpacking adventure.
